Details:
After googling the model the green white black three wire lead can be left unused, the white and black wires are for a 6 volt indicator light showing pump is running. The poster doesn't know what the green wire is for but i'd say its a ground wire.
They can also be connected to a thermostat to turn the pump on. I don't have a manual for this and didn't see one on Taco's site. Obviously it can be used as a std 006 brass pump with existing controls by removing the extra circuit board and thermostat control if the 1/2 threaded ports are OK. It has a thermostat similar to an ETD which changes resistance with temperature w wire attachment on the suction side of the pump where the pump is turned on and off based on a low and high temperature.
It is new and has never been used but I don't have the original box or instructions. Not sure what the green is for. Taco 006 brass circulating pump model 006 s50w with 1/2 npt male inlet and outlet new without box which is why i'm listing as new other has some shelf wear Taco pump designed for use with a solar system and has 1/2 male npt ports, brass body, thermostat, and a control board. It will shut off when the Thermopylae detects hot water.
The black and red can be tied together and the pump will run continuously until the Thermopylae detects hot water on the inlet to the pump. I found the following post on heating help. The pump will then shut off until the water cools down.
